Material Supply Legal Specialist

Job Post: Material Supply Legal SpecialistFollowing the guidelines of the Material Supply Management Responsible and under the guidance ofthe Material Supply Legal Manager, the Material Supply Legal Analyst has the following mainresponsibilities: • Draft the documentation needed to support the relevant Projects team members/Functionsin the definition, preparation and administration of legal and contractual aspects of themain correspondences to Vendors, under the supervision of the Material Supply LegalManager; • Assist Projects team members and the Material Supply Management Managers/Engineers indrafting claims and responses to claims submitted to/by Vendors, in terms oflegal/contractual basis, when required;  • Analyze the claims and related responses, also drafting their relevant sections, whenrequired, for further control by the Material Supply Legal Manager;• Prepare the templates for claims and related responses to be shared with the Function; • Assist the Material Supply Management Responsible in monitoring the implementation ofactivities and good practices within the organization aimed to develop and finalize thedocumentation required for the claims preparation and administrationFollowing the guidelines/methodologies of the Material Supply Management Responsible and underthe guidance of the Material Supply Legal Manager, with primary focus on legal and contractualaspects, he/she is in charge of analyzing and drafting the necessary documentation to support theMaterial Supply Management Function and procurement projects teams in the application of thecorrect methodologies for the management of passive contracts with Vendors (as example: claims,responses to claims, Liquidated Damages's, Major Back Charges, here below defined as "Disputes").
