BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: We are looking for Material & Project Planner Specialist.
Main responsibilities: Managing the material flow in the whole process, capturing the needs across all functions, throw the occupancy in the warehouse (a greater level of cubic capacity) to the verify with Venue infrastructure for the spaces; Improve the efficiency of the operations through data collection, analysis, and recommendation of alternative solutions. The goal is to increase efficiencies by reducing the cost and time required in delivering material both to the warehouse and to the venue; He/She plays a key role in finding the most efficient strategy for delivery and eventual assembly of materials at locations and the Villages; Collaborate to the deployment of goods in the venues following the administrative part, and with any other software used in the automated storage and handling systems within the warehouse; Support bump-in plans for the Venues, the Villages, and other locations by establishing, volumes to be shipped, space management, and deliveries based on priorities of functions and possible delivery times at competitive and non-competitive venues; Produce documents and policies for material management and communication to all stakholder and contractors.
Requirements: Proven 3 years of supply planning, material planning or related experience, preferably in a mid to large-size soft goods-related company, preferably in a similar role with a focus on Demand Planning and Operations. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; Availability working in shifts and under pressure during the Games, Olympic and Paralympic periods; Drive for results and quality oriented and flexible attitude Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, and Excel mastery is required; Strong communication skills, fluent English - written and spoken; Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities working under pressure. Bachelor's degree in logistics, management engineering is preferred. Equivalent experience and Degree in ambit of economics and statistics can also be considered.
