Position Summary We're looking for a Material Planning Logistic Manager in Reggio Emilia Location.
This candidate will manage plant logistics and production planning team.
She/He will be responsible for all internal logistics processes: from customer order confirmation to material planning, production planning scheduling (assembly lines and machining), inbound materials process, materials storage, shipments.

Main Responsibilities Planning and management of inbound and outbound flows throughout the production cycle; Overseeing and optimization of production planning process (from demand planning to the shipping); Definition of best procurement policy (consignment stock, Kanban, call off) finding right trade off between value of stock (DOH) and customer KPI (OTD and Short Lead time to market); Definition of stock reduction policies in order to improve rotation index; Lead and monitor KPI of all logistics processes, in order to reduce costs, increase efficiency according to management goals and targets; Lead and coordinate logistics processes continuous improvement according to Dana Operation System; Management of yearly inventory count; Responsibility for stock accuracy; Use reports and metrics which analyze opportunities for savings and improvements, shipment frequencies issues, claims issues and customer/supplier routing efficiencies; Resolve any arising problems or customer complaints related to logistics activities.
Job Position Requirements Education: University bachelor degree - Management Engineering Professional background: The candidate should have experience in different logistics functions of manufacturing companies for at least 6-7 years (production planning, material planning, warehouse and logistics management).
Hard skills: Essential: SAP MM/WM Office Application English Level, B2 Lean manufacturing application to logistics process Considered as a plus: WCM system knowledge, Logistics Cost Deployment Soft skills: Strong analytical attitude Strong problem solving and team building skills Proactivity, good interpersonal and excellent negotiation skills Ability to handle high stress situations and strict deadlines while maintaining professionalism and high quality of work at all times Self-motivated and able to assume responsibility and work autonomously If you are not contacted within 60 days after your application, the search should be considered filled.
