Partner with the best As a Materials Planning and Execution Specialist, you will be accountable for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between departments according to daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. You will coordinate with production departments, purchasing and planning to monitor the progress of work through the organization, to ensure timely execution of the production schedule.
As a Materials Planning and Execution Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with Medium Term Planner and with internal manufacturing lines to identify criticalities and recovery plans such as material shortage status, timely transactions, Non-Conformities follow up, scrap & re-work, etc. Leading the short term plan and activities related to internal production lines. Coordinating, monitoring and controlling Farm-out Activities with external Suppliers. Overseeing cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, materials shortages, machine maintenance, manpower issues and shop capacity. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics and production. Interacting with Sourcing department for criticalities management and with other functions for strategic initiatives on simplification and cost reduction. Coordinating and expediting the placement of purchase orders, delivery of material, and finished goods. Scheduling, expediting, and coordinating the delivery & movement of critical material, including material transfers, and conditional material releases. Performing data analysis and decision making to support department material supply to meet production schedules. Coordinating the planning of current schedules and inventory control parameters for the assigned products. Maintaining accurate traceability for all records created during products manufacturing and complying with company policy and process including but not limited to compliance, quality, production, EHS, HR & Admin, Lean, etc. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field or experience in production control, planning or supervision. Demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment. Have the ability to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements. Show pro-activity and accuracy in data processing. Have a good knowledge of MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Be fluent both in English and Italian (both oral and written) and hold an EU passport/work permit with no sponsorship required now or in the future. Desired Characteristics Show effective interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong attention to details. Display good communication skills and fluency with the English language. Display a mechanical mindset with an analytical approach to innovation. Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Training knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, AWO, Kaizen, 5s and other lean tools is preferred. Working flexible hours - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, start time flexible between 0730-0930hrs. This role is site-based, with no remote working offered.
