This position reports to Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice. Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries. You will also showcase your expertise by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings in Santa Palomba. You will be mainly accountable for:
Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation. Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs. Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services. Collaborating with buyers to achieve the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, Minimum Order Quantity, quality, lead time, and flexibility. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled in data analysis and business intelligence tools (SQL, Access, Power BI or similar) and knowledge of programming language as VBA, VB.NET, VC++ or similar is considered a plus. You have 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management working as a material planner. Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office especially Excel (Macros and Pivot). Degree in Economy or Management Engineering. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken. More about us We value people from different backgrounds.
