MATERIAL PLANNER (Temporary) ABOUT THE JOB As Material Planner you will ensure the performance of global and local suppliers in line with requirements of the plants and the alignment with plant strategy and with central purchasing strategy. You will also plan and procure assigned materials, ensuring production teams with punctual and efficient supply of components, in due time, in agreement with Purchasing and Material Management defined standards and procedures. Please note this is a temporary position.
ABOUT YOUR TASKS: Analyze the situation of assigned materials and their procurement planning through management parameter definition (type of planning, lead time, minimum batch, safety stock, etc) Daily monitoring of purchasing orders and relevant management parameters, defined and optimized with suppliers, and uploaded into the assigned materials procurement system Assure the delivery of materials; involvement in specific projects that aim to improve our service level Check the stock quantities, in order to prevent any lack of materials Support the phase in / phase out management Monitor warehouse stocks with particular reference to low rotation materials Carry out stock value analysis of materials in warehouse Check and take care of suppliers' invoices ABOUT YOU Good influencing skills Team player Decision maker Technical University Degree From 6 months to 2 years of experience in material planning (as planner or buyer), supply chain or logistics operations Good knowledge of Lean Production principles Good verbal and written communication skills Standard IT skills; knowledge of Access will be considered a plus Fluent in Italian and English.
