Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Material Planner to join our team and support a major client operating in the railroad industry. The resource will contribute to the team by providing support in managing the supplier portfolio to ensure the proper delivery of goods by helping to promote an action plan for performance improvement and in risk management and working with the purchasing team to ensure that contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP system, performing the following activities:
Manage express delivery needs to Suppliers using the dedicated toolsInternal suppliers: Manage Purchase Requisition until Material Planning documents creationExternal suppliers: Follow up with Procurement the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documentsEnsure and update the accuracy of material planning master dataCommunicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmationOrganize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performancesFollow up deliveries, maintain delivery dates in ERP and ensure the availability of goods for projectsTrack missing parts until stock availability and ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR processAnalyze, monitor and share performance-related KPI's with different stakeholders (internal and external)Participate/lead Supplier's performances improvementContribute with SC inputs for supplier selection and, when involved, to Supplier Capacity AssessmentContribute to the project SC objectives and targets by ensuring material planning and ERP settings are in line with these objectivesContribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action planHiring will be on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in management engineering or equivalentLanguages: Fluent in Italian and English6 months of experience in the role in supplier delivery performance management, materials requirement planning, inventory management and industrial schedulingKnowledge of ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement and data analyticsKnowledge of the SAP toolGood time-management skillsPredisposition to work in cross-functional teams/projectsAdditional InformationAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, fairness and inclusion are at the heart of our HR policy.
