We are currently recruiting for a Senior Material Engineer for our Engineering Centre in Fano (PU).
The resourse is responsible for managing the discipline activity during project execution or Bid phase as Discipline Technical Leader, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly applied and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved menhours budget.
Responsibilities: Main activities and responsibilities of Material Engineer are:
To define the material selection report for the project in coordination with Process dept.;To develop the Piping Technical specification and Material requisitions according to project indication.To check the correct uploading of piping classes in the 3D model archive, according to Project 3D Model Procedure,To cooperate with Piping PSL during piping MTO issue;To attend and coordinate the Supply KOM and proceed with relevant vendors follow up;To cooperate with other disciplines for the comment and follow up of material/painting/coating related issues;To perform the Vendor follow-up technical support, if required by other disciplines.To ensure the Client follow-up technical support, if required by PSL.To provide technical support during bidding phaseRequirements: Master's degree in mechanical engineeringMaterial Engineer with a minimum stay of 8-10 years in the role being able to preside individually the full life cycle of a EPC project.Consolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Material Engineering and accurate competences of techniques and tools.Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities and efficient team management skills, adaptability and stress tolerance.Fluent English.Place of work: Fano (PU)
