MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
To find new innovative ideas, solutions, plastic materials, processes that could be implemented in our company, Analyzing environmental impact of new and existing materials through LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) to assess potential for recycling or re-using to reduce waste and increase life cycle of product To follow Customer Change Letters (ODM, F4, etc.) with technical departments, to participate in related studies, to update the supply lists according to updated requirements, Do benchmarking activities to understand the customer need and competitor trends for interior components of the automotive field, Develop new ideas/projects proposals, for materials, process, products and sourcing eco-friendly materials by identifying and utilizing sustainable raw materials To do metal replacement studies and proposals to reduce weight and carbon footprint of product Test and validate new innovative ideas, solutions, materials, processes. Focusing on creating products that have reduced environmental footprint by collaborating with other departments if needed on sustainability and innovation related projects To improve the current products with the latest solutions, align with market/regulations demands and anticipate future trends of materials and technologies and its application, Support the company to be able to follow the market trends, stand out from the competition and offer appealing products.
