Experis is looking for a Material & Processes Engineer to strengthen our Aerospace & Defence division in Como offices.
MissionWe are looking for a Material and Process Engineer with solid experience in materials and processes selection within the space industry, control, and procurement to join our team. You will become part of a growing and dynamic Quality and Product Assurance group granting quality of hardware components across a range of high-performance applications in the new space domain.
How your contribution will make a difference:Contribute to the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of Space Product Assurance organization.Create, maintain, and control the typical M&P lists of assigned projects.Control, through every phase of the hardware development lifecycle, the compliance of processes and parts to the Products quality levels agreed with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure M&P selection processes are followed correctly and consistently.Manage material configuration to ensure availability and traceability of products.Contribute to the definition of an effective non-conformance control system, and support the documentation, follow-up, and closure of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports, including the follow-up of Request for Deviation/Request for Waiver status.Contribute to RAMS analysis during project lifecycle.Characteristics of the person who will join the Experis team:Several years of experience in M&P roles, preferably in the space industry.Knowledge of any topics within M&P (both COTS and space-grade) for space applications is a plus.Excellent analytical skills.Knowledge of applicable standards on M&P (i.e., ECSS and ASTM).Capability of working autonomously.Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.What we offer:You will work for a multinational group that is ranked among the "World's Most Ethical Companies" for the fourteenth year.
