Job Opportunity Experis is looking for a Material Processes Engineer to strengthen our Aerospace Defence division in Como offices.
Mission We are looking for a Material and Process Engineer with a solid experience in materials and processes selection within the space industry, control and procurement to join our team.
You will become part of a growing and dynamic Quality and Product Assurance group granting quality of hardware components across a range of high-performance applications in the new space domain.
Your Contribution How your contribution will make a difference: Contribute to the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of Space Product Assurance organization.
Create, maintain and control the typical MP lists of assigned projects.
Control, through every phase of the hardware development lifecycle, the compliance of processes and parts to the Products quality levels agreed with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure MP selection processes are followed correctly and consistently.
Manage material configuration to ensure availability and traceability of products.
Contribute to the definition of an effective non-conformance control system, and support the documentation, follow-up and closure of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports, including the follow-up of Request for Deviation/Request for Waiver status.
Contribute to RAMS analysis during project lifecycle.
Candidate Characteristics Characteristics of the person who will join the Experis team: Several years of experience in MP roles, preferably in the space industry.
Knowledge of any topics within MP (both COTS and space-grade) for space applications in a plus.
Excellent analytical skills.
Knowledge of applicable standards on MP (i.e.
ECSS and ASTM).
Capability of working in autonomy.
Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
