Summary: We are looking for a Master Resilience Trainer - Performance Expert (MRT-PEs) to support the Master Resilience Training Center for the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR).
Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Deliver resilience training programs to individuals and groups within the organization, including workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.Facilitate discussions and activities focused on developing resilience skills, coping strategies, and stress management techniques.Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs and goals of diverse audiences, including employees, leaders, and teams.Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness and impact of resilience training programs and make recommendations for improvement.Provide ongoing support and follow-up to participants, including resources, referrals, and additional training opportunities.Stay current on developments in resilience research, mental health practices, and industry trends, and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into training programs.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions with participants.Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Possess a thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.Shall speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can read and understand printed regulations, written orders, operating procedures, training instructions and materials, and perform the duties assigned.Must have a professional appearance that is appropriate for their position and adhere to facility dress codes. Contractor employees shall conduct themselves in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a specialized emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.Minimum of five years' relevant experience managing, overseeing, and completing the same or similar work, such as training facilitation, and including a demonstrated knowledge of support and sustainment-related operations.Prior experience serving in the military, as a DOD civilian employee, or have been a military dependent. PCM shall serve as the local installation Point of Contact (POC) for the R2PC matters and lead, manage and direct contractor staff assigned to their respective R2PC.Shall have teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DOD personnel. Prior to performing MRT-PE tasks, MRT-PEs shall have graduated from the Army's Master Resilience Training Course and be a certified Army Performance Expert.Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (Tier 1) background investigation.Must be a US citizen.Preferred Qualifications: Certifications or memberships within a professional association related to their field of study such as the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP), Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) or American Board of Sport Psychology (ABSP)Pay and Benefits
