The position plays a key role in executing integrated marketing and communication, including social media.
Working with the Director of Business Development to implement integrated marketing plans aligned with the objectives to drive brand awareness and revenue growth for the four properties: Milan Marriott Hotel, Rome Marriott Park Hotel, Delta by Marriott Giardini Naxos and Ortea Palace Hotel, Sicily - Autograph Collection .
Ensure that all properties are provided with the support needed for a successful implementation of the marketing plan.
Prepare marketing materials and assemble information packages (presentations, brochures, promotional materials etc).
Serve as point of contact for the Communication & PR agency.
Collaborate in the strategic annual marketing & communication plan in accordance with Marriott Brand Guidelines.
This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity for a creative individual to influence the marketing outcomes of four properties, driving client/guest engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all internal and external branded communications are aligned with Global Marriott Brand Standards.
Manage all internal and external communication, digital presence, including websites, third party channels and social media while maintaining brand integrity.
Develop in cooperation with the Communication Agency a social media calendar including monitoring engagement results and analytics.
Execution of a full year calendar of local events by property to support key brand messages, hotel USP's and destination (including customer events and/or socialites/VIP guests, Bonvoy moments etc.).
Create marketing opportunities working with brand-relevant partners that drive brand positioning and commercial objectives.
Ensure consistent marketing message is communicated in all advertising and collateral materials.
Support the PR collaborations with media, influencers and journalists and guarantee the hotel exposure in local and international media through media events, online channels, collaborations sharing hotel news and promotions, new services and the unique selling propositions.
Management of photo and video shootings, maintaining the photo library and its use across all media and third parties updated.
Drive F&B marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive revenue to the outlets.
Keep detailed files and records on all matters relative to property's marketing materials (photo usage rights, vendor contracts, etc.).
Develop brochures and other promotional marketing materials based on Global Marriott Brand Standards.
Create offline invitations & other materials needed for specific events, create and update of sales tools such as ppt, e-brochure, virtual planner etc.
Constantly monitoring and updating competitive research analysis.
Ensure that property is following all corporate marketing guidelines.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge Marketing Bachelor's Degree.
Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Minimum of two years' experience working in a marketing role, previous hotel experience is a plus.
Experience supporting digital platforms, including websites, social media and digital marketing.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
