The Marketing Manager Italy develops and implements marketing and communication strategies to build awareness of Digital Realty brand in Italy, promote the data center campus in Roma or anywhere else we operate in the country, engage customers and partners and drive business growth in line with the company's strategic objectives.He/She is responsible for defining and recommending to management the broad outlines of the marketing strategy to be followed, based on the needs and expectations of customers and the sales department, as well as the competition.He/She participates in the overall strategy of Digital Realty's France-Italy-Greece sub-region.Job MagnitudeLatitude:This position reports directly to the Marketing Director for the sub-region.
He/She also collaborates closely with the Managing Director Italy.This position involves links and contacts with other functions, departments such as Global Regional Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, Customer Success, Operations, HR/Internal Comms and head office.External contacts are with customers, partners and suppliers.The person may eventually have a team of 1 or 2 people reporting to him/her.Level of impact:This position focuses on Italy's Marketing strategy development and execution in line with the Global, Regional and sub-regional Marketing strategy.Budget Management: YesResponsibilities and DutiesMarketing Planning and ExecutionDefine the marketing strategy for Italy in collaboration with the sub-regional marketing Director.Develop and implement the marketing plan for the country, in line with sub-regional objectives and Global guidelines.Implement a 360° marketing strategy to personalize the customer relationship and homogenize brand messages across all channels and touch points, i.e.
: website, SEO, SEA, emailing, Social Media, content marketing, influencer, white paper, webinars, podcasts, PR, events...Execute marketing campaigns through various channels in order to generate leads (MQLs) and develop Digital Realty's reputation and image in Italy using marketing tools and measure the ROI of those various initiatives.Act as the interface between head office and Digital Realty Italy on marketing issues.Develop, monitor and optimize the marketing budget.Develop CRM strategy in conjunction with head office (improve tools, optimize customer relationship management, build loyalty).Manage external service providers (press relations agency, translation agencies, etc.
), and optimize costs.Develop partnerships to conquer new markets.Maintain/create a good relationship with customers and prospects.Analysis ReportingUnderstand customer needs and expectations: implement quantitative and qualitative marketing studies.Maintain a competitive watch on your market, and report back to senior management.Set up relevant key indicators and monitoring tables to analyze results (leads, market share, share of voice PR, suppliers of deliverables, etc.
