Local Unit & Position Description:
In line with DNV's position as a trusted voice to tackle global transformations, the DNV Supply Chain and Product Assurance division's ambition is to shape the future of assurance through innovating, developing and growing assurance services in Digital, Supply Chain, Medical Technology & Healthcare, Product Assurance, and Offshore Aquaculture.
Operating within this division, the MarCom Specialist will be responsible for executing and further nurturing an innovative and creative internal and external MarCom that makes a meaningful and measurable brand awareness impact, across a broad range of traditional and digital channels, actively collaborating with Regional MarCom Regional Manager.
The role is a combination of communication, creativity and storytelling and we are looking for a forward-thinking, hands on individual who has the ability to translate highly intellectual content into a voice that will gain respect, awareness and backing from customers and stakeholders.
A "get things done" approach is required in this newly formed, dynamic and growth-oriented business area.
Due to the "start-up" culture of the Supply Chain & Product Assurance division, it is beneficial to have operated in an early stage, growth setting before.

The MarCom Specialist will report to the Area Manager for Southern and Central Europe and will collaborate with Regional MarCom Manager to meet business requirements, goals, and KPIs.
In addition, this individual will develop outstanding communication to enable business transformation and growth.
From a company perspective, you will be responsible for planning and executing the communication toolbox, both internally and externally.
The MarCom Specialist will be based in Italy.
**Tasks May Include**
- Communicate and engage with both internal and external audiences to convey the Supply Chain & Product Assurance brand, vision and business priorities
- Contribute to bring to life the full-scale communications strategy in support of the Supply Chain & Product Assurance mission, goals and objectives which influences positive contributions to the business and its key stakeholders
- Ensure communication objectives and initiatives are well anchored and understood by the management team, staff at large and other relevant stakeholders
- Coaching and mentoring business leaders about how communication can enable better business results with the ability to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way.
- Excel in high performance, accountability and cross organisational working
- Maintain the business' solid reputation to external stakeholders through PR, online communications and social media
- Effectively and proactively respond to daily competitive, industry and company activities.
- Ensure best in class activities for sharing information across Supply Chain & Product Assurance
- Work together with internal stakeholders to become a trusted counsel for our business
- Drive and support lead generation activities that deliver growth
- Work with the Area to catalyse the production of local context to maximize impact with local target audiences
- Respond effectively and efficiently to media inquiries, in line with agreed media protocols, to ensure a strong relationship is fostered
- Guide external agencies, where necessary, to support PR and communications
- Responsible for budget management within Area remit and ensure all spending achieves the best returns for the business
- Collaborate with other in-house teams such as marketing and design teams to ensure communications are consistent throughout all touchpoints.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Min 2 years of experience within Communications required
- Experience within a hyper-growth, digital start-up company is essential
- Experience with digital technologies such as, Blockchain, B2B services and digitally centred deliveries
- Self-driven and service minded
- Solution oriented mind-set combined with a pragmatic approach
- Takes keen interest in driving change wherever required
- Forward thinking with an ability to develop communications strategies that are innovative, impactful and provide value
- A demonstrated track record of success in a fast-paced environment and driving continuous improvement and change to support fast organizational growth
- Commercially oriented
- Willingness and ability to travel local and international
- Strong written and verbal English and Italian communication skills required, Spanish a plus
