Local Unit & Position Description:
**DNV** is seeking a versatile and highly qualified
**Market Manager, Energy Sector for Eastern Mediterranean Countries (Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, etc)** to help to shape and implement the vision and strategy for
**Energy Systems** services.
The role is within
**Southern Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America Region **with a focus on the
**Mediterranean **context; the role
**is based in Milan, Bologna, Italy or eventually Greece after some time spent in Italy**.
The
**Market Manager **in the Energy sector will play a key role within DNV following & supporting Customers on the full Energy value chain from the renewables, O&G and new technologies/solutions at support of the Energy Transition path that many Customers are pursuing.
The
**Market Manager **in the Energy Sector reports to the
**Market Area Manager Italy and Easter Mediterranean**.
In this role you have a strong market and customer focus, you will drive sales and manage customer relations with a group of customers in a defined market.
This role gives customers a voice within the organization, challenges the internal organization on customer centricity, and provides input for customer/market policy and strategy.
Moreover, in your position as
**Market Manager**, you will manage some DNV Key Accounts which have operations across regions.
You own our market positioning and manage external relations in collaboration with Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs.
Last but not least: You will contribute to building the (people) sales competencies and strive for a high-performing and collaborative culture.
**Primary tasks will include**:
- Drives sales, by actively managing sales pipeline growth and increasing order intake for defined market area(s).
A strong influence on project pricing, resourcing, and bid quality review across BA
- Optimizes the customer experience measured in the CSRI score
- Internal relation with the Service Area, Delivery, Technical colleagues, and Key Account Managers
- Monitors and manages the sales funnel from sales qualified leads to won opportunities
- Seeks deep customer insights (e.g.
on strategic direction) including prospecting for new customers, market insights, and (services of) competitors, and maintains an overview of major market trends, including analysis of political developments
- Develops a market area/customer segment strategy for the relevant geographic area or customer segment and focuses on business development in the market area including cross
- and up-selling activities across BAs, BUs, and services
- Fosters a relevant internal and external network; identifies, builds, and strengthens relevant customer relationships.
Stimulate collaboration within their region as well as across BA
- Acts as a project sponsor for key projects, monitors the delivery of projects/services to ensure high quality and consistency and participates in Cross-sector opportunities.
- Supports the Market Area Manager in (Market Area) strategy and decision-making
Work place: Milan Metropolitan area (Vimercate), Bologna in Italy, with the option to be based in Piraeus, Greece after some time spent in Italy.
Position Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Several years experience of working at a senior level in the Energy Sector with particular focus on Renewables and energy transition solutions, understanding market drivers and challenges in the market area
- Direct experience in project development and execution of renewable assets in Mediterranean countries with focus on Greece
- Experience in driving continuous improvement in a team and developing a culture of high-quality delivery mindset for the customer
- A deep understanding of the Greek market in the renewable sector, with good relations with Project developers, Investors, Financial Institutions, and National Greek governmental institutions have driven renewable initiatives at the country level
- Excellent relations with players driven the Greek Energy Transition, and other related policies in place at Greek and European levels.
**Personal Qualities**:

- ** Greek** and** English** languages required, Italian is a plus
- Dedicated sales mindset, is extremely good at customer relationship building
- Foresight to drive a team collaboratively to reach common goals
