The opportunity:
Member of the Global Marketing & Product Innovation Team, the Market Analyst will build an intelligence framework to collect, analyze, and monitor industry and consumer trends, as well as information about the competitive landscape.
Key responsibilities & desired knowledge:
- Develop and maintain effective methods & tools to monitor relevant market trends, competitive moves, and overall market dynamics;
- Conduct research and analysis via open-source, subscription and proprietary data sources to address key competitive;
- intelligence questions such as company and competitor positioning, opportunities and gaps;
- On-going analysis of Sipa sales and market share tracking;
- Analyze and translate information to contribute to strategic responses and summarize relevant insights by condensing, prioritizing, and translating the potential impact to the business;
- Wide and up-to-date knowledge of information sources (Euromonitor, etc );
- Excellent mastery of Excel (modelling, etc ), good knowledge of data mining techniques;
- Advanced Web research.

Profile:
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing or Statistics;
- Young Graduate or up to 5 year experience in market analytics in a research agency, consumer good company or consulting firm;
- Proactive, analytical, capable to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders;
- Ability to transform numbers into actionable conclusions;
- Fluent in English.
Any additional language (e.g.
French or German) would be an asset;
- Excellent communication skills and assertiveness;
- Ability to work in an international environment;
- Availability to travel to conferences/fairs in Europe/Middle East/North America may be required (in the range of 10% to 20%).
- Availability to stay for short periods in the office located in Luxembourg, especially in the first period.
