As a Market Analyst professional, you'll play a crucial role in our daily commitment to energy market analysis.
You'll be part of our Strategy and Innovation Department, specifically in the Market Analysis and Energy Scenarios Unit.
Your responsibilities will include interacting with both Line Managers and specialized corporate functions, focusing on market analysis.

Your main tasks: Analysis of the current context and implications of national and international energy policy directions, with particular reference to energy transition issues; Definition and elaboration of the medium and long-term energy scenario at national and international level, collaborating with institutions to define decarbonisation paths in the energy sector, with particular reference to the gas and electricity sector; Development of the national and European gas demand evolution scenario (including green and decarbonised gases), with particular focus on competitiveness analysis; Definition of the technological evolution scenario in the energy production and use sectors with particular focus on technological switching in end uses and the demand for green gases (hydrogen and biomethane); Definition of gas demand modulation aimed at the hydraulic analysis of gas transport on the network; Analysis of gas market behaviour for both demand and supply aspects (prices and volumes); Development of the needed modelling tools.
What you need to join our team A degree in Engineering, Physics, STEM, with a focus on energy or environmental topics; Excellent analytical skills; A keen interest in investigating the evolution of the energy sector, particularly in technological aspects and environmental and energy policy frameworks; Proficiency in English.
Nice to have Postgraduate courses in energy/environmental topics; Knowledge of gas and electric markets; Familiarity with market simulation models; 1 or 2 years of experience in the energy industry.
