You will serve as a MARITIME TRAINING MANAGER AND PLANNER (MTM/P) in the Strategy, Plans, and Security Cooperations (N53) of COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Executing maritime SA activities in accordance with EUCOM and AFRICOM theater campaign plans/orders and NAVEUR/NAVAF and SIXTHFLT strategy. Performing studies of various programs, planning and work cycles, conferences, and other efforts to determine roles and responsibilities of key participants; assessing the information, and making recommendations for improving processes, seeking efficiencies, realigning resources, and adopting best practices to better execute command goals and objectives. Performing extensive coordination across the NAVEUR/NAVAF and SIXTHFLT staff, U.S. Defense Attaché Offices and U.S. embassies. Working with senior officials to include U.S. ambassadors, foreign chiefs of defense (CHODs), and general and flag officers (GO/FO) on SC and SA programs to further NAVEUR/NAVAF and SIXTHFLT and U.S. maritime goals and objectives.
