TEXA S.p.A. is currently seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer for its HQ located in Monastier.
The selected candidate will ensure the manufacurability of products in compliance with the required specifications, optimizing resource use in terms of cost, maintaining quality standards ancd achieving desired levels of productivity.
In addition, he/she will guarantee efficient series reproducibility of products, respecting established quality and project parameters, while considering constraints and available technologies both in-house and with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct test engineering assignments on new and current products.
Develop and execute methods and procedures to test and inspect product quality.
Develop and fabricate test and assembly fixtures and draft procedures and automated test programs.
Support manufacturing operations.
Compile, assess, and analyze production test data.
Suggest corrective actions for procedures and product deficiencies.
Build manufacturing methods to meet design goals on new or enhanced products.
Suggest new processes to enhance overall efficiency.
Set up routine maintenance schedules and recommend periodic upgrades of test equipment and fixtures.
Liaise between Manufacturing and Engineering on assembly development.
Define test strategies, analyze new product testability, and deliver test solutions to manufacturing.
Direct mechanical engineers and PCB designers to design custom test fixtures.
Develop and execute test processes to support needs and permit future growth.
Introduce test processes, monitor functional test yield, and take corrective actions and cost reductions.
Software development for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), using LabVIEW, MATLAB, VB, or other ATE-specific operating systems and programming languages.

Design and debug test software and hardware for production, characterization, and reliability.
Provide quality and cost-effective test solutions for mass production.
Skills & Qualifications: Good knowledge of electronic hardware manufacturing industry and processes.
Good knowledge of manufacturing test methodologies and test processes.
Understanding of electronic engineering fundamentals and DFT concepts.
Experience with automating bench test equipment (e.g., SPEA).
Strong experience in programming and scripting (e.g., Python, C++, VB, MATLAB, and LabVIEW).
Programming skills for writing and debugging test programs and test-related hardware development on ATE.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design and debugging.
Familiarity with schematic capture tools like Cadence or Altium; PCB layout experience is a plus.
Hands-on ability with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
Hands-on experience designing ATE hardware, creating schematics, and reviewing layouts.
Experience with data analysis, GR&R, test limits generation, and other process control-related statistics.
Experience with data formats like JSON (exclusively from JD2).
Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing yield and provide systemic solutions addressing root causes.
Education: Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience: 3-4 years in a manufacturing company.
Language: Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
