Manufacturing Supervisor Wartsila APSS, Roddi Manufacturing & Assembly dept, part of ANCS, is now looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor with a high project planning attitude, to join our Assembling Team and establish a strong relation with our Customers and subcontractors. The person will report to the Assembly Manager.
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for developing manufacturing methods, tools, systems, and facilities and ensuring that the quality, delivery, and cost goals are reached. This includes executing product specifications according to internal order specifications, creating and maintaining material master data for products, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems from the manufacturing process to improve quality and productivity, and working closely with the Project Engineering Dept. It also includes working with sales, R&D, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Main responsibilities: Analyze and develop manufacturing methods, tools, systems, and facilities.Participate in defining short-term action and investment plans for manufacturing development activities and projects.Prepare recommendations about changes that need to be made to manufacturing resources, procedures, facilities, systems, and technology.Implement the new manufacturing technologies and methods.Participate in the industrialization of new products.Plan and coordinate manufacturing development activities.Act as a technical expert in manufacturing development daily activities and projects.Create and maintain required manufacturing documentation.Requirements: As a person, you are driven, open-minded, and self-motivated. You have proven skills in project material management competence. You easily interact with people from all organizational levels, building bridges and creating connections, and you are used to working in a global organization. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must. Availability to travel in Italy and abroad is requested.
