Partner with the best As Manufacturing Short Term Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling the materials and operations required for the plant and expediting the flow of materials according to production schedules.
As a Manufacturing Short Term Planner, you will be responsible for: Translating demand into production plans ensuring they are delivered to meet internal customer requirements Establishing the planning and delivery processes ensuring they are aligned with customer deliverables.
Working with production controller and master scheduler to convert the demand plan into physical orders.
Prioritizing schedules to meet business goals and provide overall planning and delivery guidance for orders.
Managing internal customers ensuring alignment with order dates and deliverables.
Planning production schedules so inventory costs are minimized while maintaining customer commitments Participating in weekly production meetings to share information with internal customers and stakeholders Tracking Shop and Suppliers short term plan verifying consistency against Master Schedule and Long-medium term planning cycle time.
Working within our ERP system (Oracle) to identify material requirements, analyze supply and optimize Inventory level Understanding and tracking key deliverables (OTD/VTC, SMI, inventory turns, WIP aging); Overseeing cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, materials shortages, machine maintenance, workforce issues and shop capacity Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor in Engineering and relevant experience in Manufacturing.
Be able to demonstrate significant experience in Production Process and Equipment Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment.
Be able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
