**Your 'day to day'**:
As Manufacturing Quality Technician you will be part of our Quality department and will be reporting to the Team Leader Manufacturing QA.
The position will be based in Bologna.
In your role, you will ensure timely support to manufacturing team during production and ensure all relevant standard are respected along manufacturing process.
**Specific responsibilities include**:
Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. Act and promote an interdependent and clear safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS
**Production support**:
Support production teams by providing Quality guidance and support in case of issues. Share knowledge and expertise to stakeholders (Q Champions) on new processes, requirements, methods or policies.
Train the floor on Quality practices and procedures, and ensure the operational staff remains up to date with our Quality requirements. Provide first level support for DIM troubleshooting and relevant trials.
Support brand change activities related to Gate 4 and VSU projects.
Coordinate the availability and testing of samples.
**Non-conformities management**:
Support investigation in a timely manner of non-conformities and deviation, using OPEN+ problem solving tools. Support investigation and resolution of critical deviations, contribute to define disposal actions and when appropriate corrective actions.
Participate to the decision of releasing or destroying the non-conforming products blocked due to quality issues and supervise the related costs. Support BUBD activities for Semis and Finished Goods.
**Documentation management & QMS support**:
Provide support to the production team whenever needed
Creation and review of procedures, work instructions and other Quality Documents. Provide support and training according to the training management system.
Ensure availability of Batch Record before the production timely.
**Continuous improvement**:
Propose and follow-up quality improvement ideas in production or other processes in Operations.
Analyze the information and participate in small projects.
**Materials management**:
Support manufacturing dept in order to improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machines efficiency and production costs.
**Non-conformities management & capa**:
Support investigation of non-conformities and deviation. Support the decision making process to quarantine the non-conforming material/products and liaise with interested parties to reveal the root cause and take relevant preventive/corrective actions. Ensure accurate follow up and reporting of open actions and maintain the related database updated. Ensure the accurate flow is in place to manage and keep under control the costs related to goods destroyed (LOGD)
Communicate all useful information for the flow of Quality processes to colleagues and to support teams. Support the development of the Q Champions and Equipment Owners through Quality trainings. Support Q Pillar deployment (e.g.Training, HC, QBOS).
Perform critical review of completed production batch records and handle intermediate and finished product non conformities and related corrective and preventive actions held with relevant partners and ultimately confirm to the final approver that the product can be released for commercial manufacturing.
Perform calibration and maintenance of a line Quality instruments and ensure accurate functionality.
**Requirements & Skills**:
Professional School, Technical or equivalent skills through demonstrated experience
6 months in production, quality or relevant skills through demonstrated experience
**Italian: Fluent**:
English: Basic
Knowledge of International standards (ISO). Sophisticated knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge. Ability to transform data into information (reporting skills).
