Partner with the best The Manufacturing Fabrication & Machining Operations Leader will develop, coordinate, lead and execute the daily workshop production plan to achieve the highest HSE performances in the plant, providing direction and assistance to the work group and resolving issues through immediate action or short-term planning to meet the expected results by the MFG leadership.
As a Manufacturing Fabrication & Machining Operations Leader, you will be responsible for: Coordinating activities of the hourly teams within the cell.
Developing, coordinating, leading, and executing the daily production plan.
Defining shifts schedule on the product lines according to the production plan and operator skills.
Managing people presence in terms of vacation, shift change, and HR absence.
Achieving the highest safety levels in the production line.
Guaranteeing performance KPI targets: CoQ, HSE, on-time delivery, OEE, DL hours development.
Managing training and operator skills to respond to workload needs.
Collaborating with other functions (i.e., ENG, UTOF, MPE) on resolution of nonconformity.
Supporting cell leaders in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources.
Defining and working following Standard Works & T/T.
Guaranteeing Quality, HSE and Compliance Integrity standards following Company Culture and internal procedures.
Supporting continuous improvement roadmap through Lean and Digital development.
Supporting HR Team in recruiting and people management within the production line.
Supporting Manufacturing organization in shop tours and other customer-oriented initiatives.
Managing the relationship in the workshop with the customer's inspector and other functions visitors/auditors/guests.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with experience in Manufacturing).
Have experience in Production Supervision.
Have good oral and written communication skills.
Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
Have the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
