In Legnago we manufacture standard and custom-made solutions for heavy-duty vehicles for their electromechanical shifting, power control, and circuit protection, so you as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be managing all engineering activities of a small team including design, development, production and testing, implementing and maintaining overall engineering objectives and initiatives.
This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and team management.
About the Job: Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to meet production goals.Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.Develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize efficiency, quality, and cost.Determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
Adjust resources as needed to ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget.Lead engineering projects, particularly where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.Monitor and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
About You: Bachelor or university degree in Engineering (Automation/ Industrial Engineering).5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred.Written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English languages.Advanced knowledge of MS Office.Strong attention to detail and highly organized.Ability to multi-task, compromise, and solve problems.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
