PPG AMPASPACE Is Looking For aMANUFACTURING ENGINEER - AEROSPACE AREA As manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in all manufacturing Engineering activities of Casaletto Vaprio plant: ensure alignment of production data with the customer design and develop a culture of quality, safety and EHS for the Aerospace production.
You will develop operational excellence according to the site's strategy and define manufacturing processes of the plant, by optimization and efficiency of people, materials and equipment.Main ResponsibilitiesInterpretation of engineering DWG, specifications and manufacturing processesDesign and Production Data Configuration ManagementManufacturing method development and improvementImplementation of optimized production technologies, testing tools and industrial tools for new products and/or for the optimization of existing production lines.Manage the definition of the proper workflows, assembly and test proceduresEstimation of production time and costWorking with shopfloor personnel to validate processes and toolsTechnical support to supervisors and shopfloor operator to solve manufacturing process challengesTechnical support to supply chain department for purchasing raw material/sub-assyGreen Belt (Lean Six Sigma) project coordinationManage, in collaboration with the production the resolution of technical issuesRequirementsEngineering degree (mechanical or aerospace) and technical knowledgeStrong Italian and English knowledge (written and spoken)Good knowledge of BPI processes (Master manufacturing, Lean Sigma, Quality and Logistic techniques and skills).Communicate and share informationOrganizational skills and Focus on detailsPreciseness and accuracyFair attitude with colleagues and direct reportsAct with a long term perspectiveWhat We OfferFull time permanent contractTicker restaurantHealth insurancePPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
