Manufacturing Engineer Talent Solutions, part of the Manpower group in collaboration with Leonardo Aerostrutture, a key player in the aerostructures market, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer.
The role involves ensuring support for the macro-business process of product industrialization, specifically in the area of assembly processes, with the aim of ensuring compliance with agreed times, costs, and quality standards.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for: Support the definition of the Industrialization Plan for new programs and major variants, feasibility analysis activities, preparation of offers, and definition of operational estimates and budgets.
Support the definition of Manufacturing, Transportation, and Tooling Plans, ensuring support to Production Engineering during operational development and until the completion of the first article.
Support 'Concurrence Engineering' activities - for the relevant aspects - with Product Engineering in the product/configuration variant setup phase.
Assist in identifying technical criteria for defining recurring and non-recurring activity packages to be assigned externally, including finding relevant supply sources and establishing preliminary supply status definitions.
Support the allocation of Part Numbers to plants and suppliers, pursuing rationalization of sources and technological excellence, aligning with the established "Make or Buy" strategic lines.
Ensure the development and updating of assembly and/or manufacturing methods (metal, composite), overseeing their correct implementation within Production Plants.
Support the definition of technology development plans for new industrial initiatives.
Assist in reorganizing assembly and/or industrialization lines according to Lean Manufacturing guidelines.
Qualifications Education: Degree (preferably in aeronautical engineering) or technical diploma (aeronautical/mechanical field).
Technical Skills: Reading technical drawings with CATIA.
Experience in concurrence engineering for modifications, reindustrialization, and/or industrialization of new products.
Knowledge of production processes (Assemblies).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, machining, composites).
Understanding of manufacturing bill structuring and configuration management principles.
Knowledge of change management systems and their planning.
Experience in participating in cross-functional improvement projects.
Computer Skills: Management and Collaboration PLM systems: Team Center, PDM Enovia.
Legacy data management systems (MCM, Copics, Mac/Mad, Ida).
CATIA / PLM interface.
Office package.
Language Skills: English (intermediate level).
