MANAGING DIRECTOR ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a competent Assistant to support the Director in departmental planning and monitoring progress.
You will also be working to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
Assistant directors are competent in assuming delegated duties.
They are leaders and critical thinkers, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles.
Immediate availability required.
JOB TYPE Full Time JOB LOCATION VERONA ACTIVITIES As a managing director assistant, the candidate is going to carry out the following tasks: Assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department.
Work with the director to coordinate and supervise daily operations.
Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Monitor attainment of objectives.
Organize business travel for the Director and the executives.
Undertake staffing responsibilities (hiring, training, evaluating, etc.).
Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed.
Create reports and submit them to the director or other executives.
Fulfill duties as assigned by the director.
Assist the director with planning and implementing strategies.
Assist the director with projects and initiatives by completing assigned tasks.
Monitor activities assigned to other staff members, if requested.
Build and maintain positive relationships with management, staff, the community, and all stakeholders, if requested.
Assist the director to establish and enforce budgets, timelines, and metrics.
Organize and file documents, take notes, and deliver messages to the director.
Present department information to shareholders.
Schedule, organize, and participate in company and community events.
REQUIREMENTS The candidate must meet the following requirements: Fluent in English / English mother tongue – Fluent in Italian – Other languages represent additional value.
Proficient in MS Office.
Outstanding communication and public speaking skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
A good working knowledge of business regulations, standards, and procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy.
Good organizational skills.
