THE ROLE The Manager, Workforce Ops Systems and Development is primarily responsible for maintaining an expertise as it relates to staff management and asset systems and 3rd party tools in support of and from the viewpoint of the On Location Staff Operations, Hospitality and Sports Experiences teams. The Manager works closely with the team to drive strategy, enhancements, maintenance, and training tools directly associated with the management of staff Operations throughout the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities Technology driven; provide leadership and issue resolution as it relates to processes, technologies, and proprietary systems that product and event teams utilize.
Cultivate a working knowledge of all events/services to provide appropriate product and technology leadership and support as it relates to event staffing needs.
Develop and maintain continuous knowledge of internal workflow processes and technologies, specifically proprietary inventory management system(s). Identify areas of improvement in workflow processes and implement solutions.
Collaborate with Technology, product managers, and the multiple event team workstreams to create enhancement projects, prioritize work, schedule and manage deployments, and provide status updates.
Collaborate with teams and oversee product builds to establish efficiencies and consistencies in product development.
Use Inventory Management System(s) to support Staff Operations team by building and managing accommodations, maintaining web content, managing inventory, and extracting data for the purposes of event operations.
Apply critical thinking skills to resolve internal and external issues regarding proprietary Staff Management System(s).
Organize and analyze requests for system enhancements from event teams; develop enhancement documents and plans and collaborate with technology on requests.
Assist in testing system enhancements; clearly communicate and identify further developments and/or enhancements needed for successful functionality.
Develop documents and presentations for operational accountability (e.g., checklists, quality assurance tests, project management) for the Product & Operations Technology team and share best practices across other workstreams.
Establish and maintain working knowledge of 3rd party systems in support of overall project management.
Influence process development by analyzing current processes, then identifying and communicating opportunities to streamline procedures that directly impact productivity.
Identify, understand, and remove roadblocks.
Support onsite event execution logistics related to product management and event operations such as product builds, reporting, guest check-in, transportation and more.

Travel Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays. International travel may be required. Expected travel may range from 10-15% annually.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Technology, Hospitality, Sports Management, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Preferred Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience with multiple technologies and proprietary system development related to Staff scheduling and operations management, inventory management, and data analytics.
Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Excellent situational analysis and decision-making skills.
Experience in the Travel & Hospitality industry.
Experience working with multiple technology and software platforms, including but not limited to Office 365 platform, Asana, Smartsheet, and other digital collaboration systems.
Presently resides and/or is willing to relocate to Milan, Italy.
