There's never been a more exciting time to join Deel — the international payroll and compliance market leader.What you'll do:Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists, providing direction and support to ensure timely and accurate payroll processingCollaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of employee data and payroll-related accounting transactionsDevelop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policiesMonitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiencyDevelop and deliver payroll-related training and communications to ensure payroll-related policies and procedures are communicated effectively across the organizationServe as a subject matter expert on payroll-related matters, providing guidance and support to other teams as neededMaintain relationships with external payroll vendors and tax authorities, ensuring timely and accurate filing of payroll-related reports and paymentsManage the performance and development of the payroll team, providing feedback and coaching to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their rolesCollaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement payroll-related strategies and initiativesKey Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution10+ years of experience managing payroll functions for multiple entities and countriesStrong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HRExperience managing a team and driving process improvementsAdvanced knowledge of local payroll software solutionsExperience with implementation of new payrolls on an industry-recognized payroll solution is preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to different audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and prioritize competing demandsTotal RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are.
