For our Logistics Operations Team, we are looking for a Manager In-Market Logistics – Italy Greece (all gender) (Fulltime / permanent/ Location: Milan) The Opportunity You will be responsible for providing clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all personnel regarding logistics, administration, supply support, and support services for Italy and Greece.
Identifies, evaluates, proposes, and executes solutions to improve the service and cost performance of CSL's distribution model.
Analyzes solutions and manages analytic work streams through others; manages projects across functional work streams.
Interfaces broadly across the supply chain functions as well as with major commercial groups.
The Role You will supervise third-party logistics execution; oversee inter-company plant-to-affiliate shipping, including customs processes; and manage the outbound delivery process through cooperation and management of the logistic service provider.
You will oversee warehousing operations, including management of the company ERP system postings, and driving the agreement of processes between the logistic service provider and our ERP, and clarifying any differences that may occur.
You will arrange physical inventory/cycle counts with the logistic services provider, including creating physical inventory documents, performing physical inventory counts and entering results and reviewing for inventory differences, routing for approvals, and initiating and reconciling recounts if necessary.
You will collaborate with In-Market Commercial Operations to produce all Market Distribution statistics and reports, including monthly Goals, ad-hoc reports, and cost center spend analysis.
You will collaborate with In-Market logistic services provider to provide 3PL data to support Indicator reporting and business analysis.
You will support ERP procurement, including fulfilling subcontract orders, addressing supplier managed inventory through periodic physical inventory checks, and resolving exceptions.
You will support any potential CMO-related logistic activities in the market.
You will work in collaboration with local team (commercial and QP) to Support in market logistic activities vis a vis local stakeholders (sick funds, hospital, MoH).
Quality Management System Support You will lead deviation investigations to support quality events such as Product Technical Complaints, Shipping Temperature Excursions, or Distribution Damages.
You will author/approve Standard Operating Procedures to support In-Market Logistics Operations and Global Logistics Processes.
You will work with Global/Local Quality and In-Market Commercial Operations to lead Recall Execution including generating distribution reports, coordinating stock movements/returns.
Your Skills and Experience: Local language fluency, English language fluency.
5 years of experience in a Shipping / Logistics role in a distribution environment.
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle simultaneous responsibilities, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
Experience with transportation principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
Experience with principles and processes for providing customer services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
SAP experience.
Skills working in a global matrix reporting environment.
