Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing the operation & maintenance of Facility equipment's like Lighting & distribution, Diesel Generators, transformers, Electrical distribution panels, UPS, HVAC systems, access control system, Smoke detection & Gas detection system, CCTV, Fire safety systems, building repairs etc.,
- Interface with Electricity Utility agencies including compliance management
- Vendor Agreements review, renewals from time to time & working closely with Purchase team for release of PO's release
- Managing the building lease renewals from time to time along with landlord coordination
- Managing capital expansion projects
- Conducting competitive tendering, exercise, and identification of suitable specialist subcontractors for the site, carrying out comparative analysis and making recommendations on the most appropriate subcontractors.
- Adherence to the approved budget with primary responsibility for the monthly facilities management report, including an overall summary of operations
- Legal/Licenses: Ensure all Facility Premises Lease agreements are in place, periodic inspections by the Dept of Electrical Inspectorates, PCB Consents renewal as and when required.
- Monitoring and inspection of buildings and premises for safety issues, promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and good environmental practices.
- Review of documentation, streamlining of processes from time to time
- Ensure all communications are completed with regards to queries, escalations, request, and complaints and demonstrate the employee-oriented practices
- Effective utilization and review of sub-contractors / vendor's performance monthly or periodic intervals
- Handling Waste management
- Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
- Working collaboratively with the internal cross functional teams
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in the Facilities domain and maintaining a high level of internal customer satisfaction
- Close coordination with Administration team for the internal & external events
- Driving sustainability initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
What you must have
- 10 to 12 years of experience in Facilities domain, preferably from R&D and manufacturing set up & Electromechanical background.
- BE/B.Tech In Electrical/Mechanical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal/external customers.
- Knowledge of compliance and statutory regulations such as Health & Safety.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times with the ability to prioritize work when there are competing demands and urgent business needs.
