Regal Rexnord Manager I, Commercial Operations in Florence, Kentucky Summary Regal Rexnord is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager to lead the Elastomer team for our North America Couplings division.
This role is responsible for managing an application engineering team, structure, and processes that supports customer requests for new and existing applications from initial review through quote and post order technical support.
Commercial Operations is a key team that is responsible for supporting internal and external customers in pre-order through delivery in technical review and non-standard pricing utilizing our differentiated service model through hands-on leadership and facilitation.
This role will lead and drive Policy Deployment, Annual Improvement Plans (AIP), and transformational Roadmaps for the Commercial Operations team.
As a member of the commercial operations leadership team, this role will impact results and culture by supporting standards, institutionalizing management systems, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities Support the organization in achieving differentiated service to 'A' customers with world-class responsiveness and solutions through effectively leading transformational services.
Identify, develop, and lead initiatives through the North America commercial operations organization, including setting and driving goals to support customers and solutions.
Lead and coach application engineering team through both a hands-on and influential approach.
Collaborate closely with other departments, Sales, Customer Care, Integration, Product management, and Operations.
Lead performance review fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation, encouraging the team to think creatively and explore solutions for complex challenges.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of team objectives, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement of the team.
Implement regular review mechanisms to assess the impact of initiatives on customer satisfaction and business outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed.
Develop a high-performance team by performance management, engaging, coaching, and training team members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience supporting customers, including previous experience leading or mentoring teams within the engineering, customer care, or operations space.
Proven customer care experience, driving best-in-class solutions to a customer base.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of e-commerce, organizational integration, and customer segmentation strategies.
Previous experience with business systems like the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) or similar lean management principles within continuous improvement.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and drive change across the team.
Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem areas and potential solutions.
Strong system and office software knowledge in Microsoft Office suite; including Visio and project manager, & CRM (Salesforce.com preferred).
Proven experience leveraging multiple sets of input to review team performance; translating the data into development of key objectives, actions, and key measures.
Strong financial acumen.
Prior experience managing a P&L preferred.
Analytical skills to properly interpret data and develop strategic insights.
Experience with rotating equipment or relevant industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and lean tools.
