MAIN TASKS: The successful candidate will join a specialized team operating within credit risk modelling and advisory projects for financial intermediaries. The selected person will lead activities in the management of the activities relating to the following areas:
Development and implementation of risk parameter estimation (PD, LGD, EAD), satellite and ECL (IFRS 9) models Development and implementation of Economic Capital (Credit VaR) models and stress testing Credit Process Optimization and Risk Based Pricing Early Warning and Collection Models ICAAP and Stress Testing CRM Analytics Advanced Analytics EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of experience in risk management in Banking sector or consultancy firms and a proven experience in managing teams and staff with diverse backgrounds A degree or master's degree with excellent marks in Economics/Finance, Statistics or Engineering coupled with sound quantitative knowledge is required Practical application of statistical modelling techniques Experience of using mathematical/statistical computing software or other data mining skills Proficiency and hands-on experience in coding with Python Hands-on academic and/or industry experience on one or more of the frameworks and libraries: pandas, numpy, tensorflow, keras, pytorch, scikit-learn is nice to have Experience in relational SQL and NoSQL (Redis, Mongo DB, Cassandra) databases Excellent Microsoft Office skills e.g. excel, word, power point and access Solid working experience in risk modelling is a distinctive factor SOFT SKILLS: Commercial and innovative mindset Proficiency in both verbal and written English is a must Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail Assertivity and excellent communication, in multi-national and multi-discipline environment, presentation and inter-personal skills Project/time management skills as well as ability to meet required deadlines Self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take initiative LOCATION: OTHER: Selected candidate will be offered a career path that may include trips abroad as well as the opportunity to work in a stimulating and dynamic environment, strongly oriented towards the enhancement of resources according to the objectives attained.
