As such, we are now recruiting for the position of Manager COE Logistics, as part of our new Supply Chain CoE in Bologna, Italy!
The role – This role sits in the Supply Chain Excellence team and, with global coverage, it will be responsible to develop and govern Quality, Safety, Sustainability and working standards across the global Supply Chain organization, addressing both functional needs and external regulatory requirements that are subject to audits by the governing bodies.
The role holder will be the subject matter expert, leader of key projects and sounding board for the Supply Chain organization as a whole and any stakeholder to beforementioned standards.
Your 'day to day' – Quality, Safety , Sustainability and Working Standards Responsible for the ownership and definition of listed standards for the Global Supply Chain function (all product categories, channels and geographical locations). Define and oversee the implementation of listed standards globally and in Proof-of-Concept markets. Continuous Improvement & Monitoring Develop and establish measurable metrics to monitor adherence to standards and performance levels in line with supply chain objectives and compliance requirements. Lead regular assessments of adherence to standards to identify trends and need for corrective actions or adjustment of standards. Assess impact of new product introductions or changes in regulatory requirements on existing standards and where applicable, advice management on required adjustments. Provide guidance and support to the Supply Chain teams for the deployment of enhanced standards. Compliance & Audits Ensure continued compliance with standards that are auditable by external bodies. Act as single point of contact for supply chain towards internal and external auditors for Quality, Safety & Sustainability standards. 3rd Party Quality, Safety, Sustainability and Working Standards Requirements Develop minimum Quality, Safety & Sustainability requirements for 3rd parties in close collaboration with Global Logistics Procurement and the Supply Chain function as a whole. Provide guidance, self-assessment and audit practices to monitor adherence to the standards reflected in 3rd party contracts or SLA's. Communication & Relationship Influence and advise SC Leadership team and other internal customers on (potential) impact of industry and regulatory developments on active standards. Establish strong relationships with deployment teams to maximize knowledge and capabilities transfer effectiveness and execution success. Transformational Projects Support Head of COE Logistics in the identification, development and key project management of transformational projects in the domain of global warehousing and transportation. Work with IT for global digital portfolio streamlining and deliver cost reduction on IT landscape. Define & work with IT for infrastructural needs. Assign product owner and work with IT to prioritize resources. Who we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Business or similar related fields. Additional Supply Chain certifications desirable. 8+ years of working experience in Supply Chain & Operations preferably in FMCG Industry. Experience in leading and delivering large scale transformational projects and working standards. People management experience. Deep knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain end to end processes. Business process modelling. Quest for innovative improvements. Senior stakeholders' management and influencing skills. Cross-functional collaboration. Ability to work with ambiguity. Problem solving.
