Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Manager for the Amazon Shipping Sales team in Italy.
We are looking for a manager in sales who will be excited by working in a new start-up environment and will have familiarity with leading B2B sales generation and managing sales team.
The successful Manager will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a start-up environment.
You will have experience developing relationships across a diverse customer base, drive commercial growth for the business and work effectively with functional areas such as Business, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT.
Has a proven track record for developing people and leading teams to success, exceeding program goals and revenue targets.
Key job responsibilities Own strategy and commercial growth for customers cohort Manage a team of sales managers, growing people and leading them ton success Drive revenue, adoption, and market segment share for our product with key prioritization and identified trade-offs Earn trust of customers (shippers) and recommend product solutions that fit their business needs meeting exceeding targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption Measure performance, articulate root-cause analysis, and link to specific improvement areas Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams Analyse current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences, reduce costs, and accelerate organization performance Drive and accelerate spend adoption through advising customers on best practices for using our product Assess program risks, anticipate challenges, and provide escalation management when necessary This role will be based in Milan with possible moderate travel (maximum 25%).
