Offer DescriptionCentral Nervous System (CNS) tumors are the most common solid cancer in children, and during the last decades, their overall survival has significantly increased.
There is a lack of uniform guidelines for detecting endocrine and neurological morbidity in these patients and for evaluating adequate follow-up.
It is well documented that the onset of endocrine disorders in CNS tumors generally occurs within the first 5 years after diagnosis (median follow-up 2.2 years).
Therefore, it is imperative to define an appropriate follow-up and an early start of hormonal replacement therapy and management of neurological deficits.
