**Duties**:
- Plans the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials. Establishes deadlines, priorities, work sequences and plans work assignments based on general work schedules
- Coordinates work with supporting or related work units controlled by other supervisors. Determines the number and types of workers needed to accomplish specific projects; redirects individual workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work.
- Participates with superiors in initial planning of current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs and estimates.
- Investigates works related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determine causes. Implement corrective actions to resolve work problems. Recommends solutions to staffing problems, engineering requirements, and work operations
- Supports and explains management programs to subordinates. Determines training needs and arranges for accomplishment; sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinates. Assures safety and housekeeping practices are observed.

- PHYSICAL EFFORT: The worker makes repairs and installations from floor level, ground level, and from ladders. Work requires standing, stooping, bending, climbing,crawling, and kneeling for extended periods in uncomfortable positions.
- Worker may lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds and,occasionally heavier items with assistance.
- WORKING CONDITIONS: The work will be performed both indoors and outdoors. Exposed to dust and dirt. The worker may be required to perform in bad weather when having to work outdoors.
- The worker will be exposed to the possibility of cuts, bruises, burns, and broken bones from falling objects or when working on ladders or driving a motor vehicle.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- May be required to drive vehicles up to and including a 5-ton truck to move furniture, etc., to various buildings on the installation.

Do you have working knowledge of wood working techniques and basic shop mathematics; skilled in use and operation of common hand and power tools and measuring devices of the carpentry and painting trades to perform a variety of tasks; familiar with standard surface preparation and coating methods and techniques; can read and follow basic blueprints and sketches and can manipulate controls of a motor vehicle?

- SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE:
