Part of the Luxury Group of Marriott International, Casa Brera is currently recruiting Maintenance Technicians to join the pre-opening team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the role will cover any tasks related to the maintenance and repair of our hotel.
This is full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off. The starting date is estimated in July/August.

The impact you'll make We believe that the Engineering department is vital for our guests' satisfaction and much more. You will go beyond the traditional idea of maintenance, and you will embrace the innovation and the new systems that the Engineering department is implementing. You love repairing air-conditioning, heating systems and making sure every guest and associate can enjoy a hot shower. Ensuring that the Engineering team is always on top of things, motivated and knowledgeable is your daily routine.
What you'll do Respond and attend to guests and associates repair requests.Communicate with guests/associates to resolve maintenance issues.Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings.Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.Communicate each day's activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building.Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area.Program TV's and perform engineering-related inventory duties.Use the internal company system before performing any maintenance work.Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers.Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.What you'll need: Passion for the luxury lifestyle hospitality industry.A warm, people-oriented demeanor and a team-player attitude.At least intermediate knowledge of Italian and ideally English.A safety-first approach.Positive outlook and dependability.Previous experience in similar roles is an advantage.What we offer: A unique opportunity to be part of a luxury lifestyle hotel where we celebrate your unique talent.Part of Marriott International, the largest hospitality brand in the world- this means national and internal promotion opportunities for the right candidates.World class training and development programs tailored to enhancing your skills and help you grow within the Marriott family.Discounted room nights, meals, and spa access in more than 9,000 hotels worldwide-because your wellbeing means so much.Discounts for your friends and family.5 euros breakfast when staying at any of our European hotels.Performance and Recognition programs.Wellness and sustainability initiatives.You're welcomed here Our highest priority is making you feel as welcome as our guests.
