**Main Purpose of the Job**
To support and participate in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.
**Position Summary**
As the Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee, coach, and develop maintenance team members.
You will manage, support and participate in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed to eliminate unplanned stops, you also will be in charge of preventive maintenance scheduling.
You will also assign team members to jobs and instruct them on the performance of work assignments. You will also schedule special projects and emergency repairs for all departments in need of maintenance support.
You will optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.
**A Day in the Life of the Maintenance Supervisor**
- Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.
- Mentor team members to build technical competencies in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and career growth.
- Assign work tasks to team members and monitor task accomplishment.
- Ensure team members have the proper tools, supplies, and equipment needed for successful task completion.
- Support factory continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in budget preparation and reports maintaining a low cost and high-efficiency operation
- Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies (Pillar Maintenance foundations), usually member of Pillar Maintenance.
- Support the implementation Autonomous Maintenance pillar methodologies.
- Master and coach breakdown analysis.
- Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to applicable standards in the area of responsibility.
**What will make you successful?**
- High School technical Diploma / Degree in engineering
- A previous experience in managing a team is a must
- A previous experience similar role in Food factory will be a plus
- Microsoft Office management at an advance level (mainly Excel, Power Point)
- SAP management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have an investigative profile with deeper attention to detail, synthesize data, break down business problems, and conduct brainstorming
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple and varied tasks simultaneously so to comply with internal and regulatory deadlines
- Fluent in Italian and English
