**This position reports to**:
R&D Local Unit Lead
**Your responsibilities**:
- Manage the calibration of electrical, mechanical instruments and the recording systems of the laboratory respecting the periodical deadlines.
- Execute the verification and the calibration of laboratory measurement equipment (several hundreds) based on the guidelines of the methodology in use, the reference Calibration Procedure, instruments instruction manuals and applicable standards.
- Define the details, the calibration sequences, the equipment and instrumentation to be used, with reference to the Calibration Procedures or applicable standards,
- Prepare the necessary set-up, the required measurement instruments, connect the device under test on the calibration equipment and execute the Calibration.
- Maintain continuously updated the Meteorological database and relevant documents for recording the Calibration activities on reference samples or work equipment.
- Execute the metrological confirmation on reference samples returned from external calibrations.
- Manage the maintenance on the instruments in according to the relevant equipment instruction manuals.
- Analyze the tests results according to the applicable Calibration procedures for checking the compliance of the tested instruments and perform the uncertainty calculations.
- Produce and develop activities required for the processing of Calibration Test report for tested equipment, and issue the report.
- Propose improvements in the existing testing procedures or methodologies, based on experience and use of new equipment, in particular for measurement equipment.
- Assist and support the laboratory colleagues for all concerns the instruments management.
- Issue the purchase requests to manage the external calibration of the reference samples.
**Your background**:
- High School Diploma in the Electrotechnical field or Bachelor Degree (3 years) in an Electrical, or Electronic field.
- Good Electrical measuring instruments knowledge.
- Good Metrological and statistical Knowledge.
Analysis capacity and interpretation of results.
- Good manual skills.
- Ability to communicate and to work in teams.
- Writings Skills.
- Good computer skills (programming knowledge and office software package).
- Knowledge of English.
- Person careful, precise and tidy with a high desire to learn and attitude for problem solving.
Good skill to initiative.
