Why Patients Need You Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and utilities systems and production/non-production equipment. This role is responsible for leading the Catania Pfizer site Calibration Program, ensuring the program remains compliant with all cGMP requirements/ Pfizer Quality Standards (PQS) and strives towards best-in-class performance. Provide Reliability Engineering technical expertise to operating Facilities Good knowledge of common Reliability computing tools to guarantee the highest level of equipment production reliability Develop a compliance mindset in maintenance & utilities team Key Experience Offer of this Role Support Site Reliability program meets all regulatory Pfizer quality standards (PQS) requirements. Review all standard operating procedures maintenance related focusing on calibration program and maintenance Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Quality tracking system (QTS) for program metric calculations, failure investigations/RCA, work order generation, quality incident generation, and CAPA management/execution. Technical support for regulatory agency audits and serve as a subject matter expert to defend the calibration program Support continuous improvement of the maintenance program Participates in internal and external Community of Practice discussions to share best practices and proposes opportunities for harmonization and simplification across the Pfizer network Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) of repetitive problems and investigate failures Facilitate and participate in equipment based Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations. Evaluate CMMS work order data for repair trends and chronic issues and implement solutions. Support all investigations and audits as needed Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principals Good interpersonal and communication skills Primary Responsibilities Support Reliability Engineering technical expertise to operating facilities in support of the Reliability Management System Assist the site with consistent application of the risk management tools to support risk-based work selection Assist site in development of RCM based Equipment Strategies Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis What You Offer Basic Qualifications Applicant must have an Engineering bachelor degree (Mechanical, Electrical or similar) and minimum 1 year of experience. Very good English knowledge, both speaking and writing Demonstrated time management skills, ability to work on multiple projects at a time Working knowledge of Engineering Document Management Systems Good interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders, plant partners, engineers and maintenance persons Adherence to Pfizer Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity and Joy. Preferred Qualifications Industry experience (preferably as a Maintenance or Reliability Engineer) with preventive and predictive maintenance programs is preferred. Preferred candidate should have hands on experience working with equipment and systems as a shop mechanic, technician, or plant engineer. Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and shop craft-persons. Physical/Mental Requirements Candidate must be able to access clean room environments requiring clean room gowning (donning plant uniforms and coveralls). Candidate must be able to access mechanical spaces that require ascending/descending stairs and or ladders. Candidate may be required to access confined spaces. Ability to perform mathematical calculations as well as complex data analysis.
