Operations division's task is to execute Finnair's flight operations safely, economically and in a reliable manner. Flight operations entail the pilot resources, flight planning, flight competence optimization, coordination of and compliance to regulations as well as operational maintenance and ground operations. Finnair Technical Operations is responsible for the airworthiness of Finnair fleet. The key objectives of Technical Operations are safety, reliable flight operations and cost-efficient maintenance processes. We are now looking for MAINTENANCE PLANNER to be a part of the Operational Planning team and work in shifts. As Maintenance Planner, you will help ensure an airworthy fleet in rapidly changing situations by communicating the maintenance forecast to operations and by scheduling defect repairs together with the MCC and Operations Control Center (OCC) teams. As Maintenance Planner, you will be making feasible maintenance plans in close cooperation with internal stakeholders such as the Production Planning, Maintenance Control Center and Material Management.
Your other main responsibilities will include: Monitoring and ensuring continuing airworthiness in Finnair fleet 24/7 as part of MCC responsibilitiesScheduling of defects and ad hoc worksCreating scheduled maintenance plans and ensuring feasible maintenance slot schedules with other teams such as Operations Control Center and Traffic PlanningPreparing line maintenance together with Production PlanningCreating Outstation maintenance plansWe expect you to have: A relevant degree or corresponding knowledge gained through work experienceThe ability to organize work and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesAn exceptionally strong ability to work under pressure and react constructively in new situations and willingness to collaborate with other teamsGood communication skills and excellent social skillsFluency in written and spoken English and FinnishWillingness and enthusiasm to learn and developExperience in aircraft maintenance and knowledge of airline traffic operations will be considered advantages.Working at Finnair: We offer you an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-changing aviation and international travel industry in a culture that drives and enables professional development and continuous improvement.
