Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Job profile A Japanese Global manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer, who will install, repair, maintain, and relocate company's products & machinery.

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and take corrective actions to prevent breakdowns. Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment according to specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspection reports, and parts inventory. Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities. Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance staff and train operators on proper equipment use. Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs promptly. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications and Skills: Fluent Italian & English, Japanese skills are advantageous. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipment. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and tools. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment. Valid Driving License Location Naples, Italy
