As a Senior Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist, your role is key to driving improvements on-site and at a regional level.
You'll help your colleagues maintain high standards, all while driving a culture of safety and inclusivity on your site.
There is a range of opportunities within the team, from Health and Safety Technicians to Programme Managers.
No matter what your role is, you'll play a part in developing, implementing and upholding our high safety and wellbeing standards.
You could work on a variety of projects alongside colleagues from across the business, ranging from equipment and process inspections to assessing processes, building and equipment design.
Key job responsibilities:
Manage your programmes, whilst regularly collaborating with other teams and stakeholders across the companyUse internal reporting tools to analyse data reports and root causes that provide leadership with the information they need to make safety related decisionsProvide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policiesDrive programmes to improve technical equipment specifications and designs within AmazonAbove-average willingness to travel within the covered region BASIC QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)ASPP or RSPP certifiedProfessional training in a technical profession, preferably mechatronics or electricsRelevant experience managing projectsRelevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislationAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Italian PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologiesQualifications or experience in the field of sustainabilityRelevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadershipChartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people managementStrong stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls systemsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
