**MISSION**
Working with Plant Quality and Global Supplier Quality Team, he/she is responsible for ensuring that components delivered from all supplier to Bonfiglioli Plant are in accordance with the requirements (Drawings and Specifications).
He/she will also perform supplier audits (monitoring and process validation) on existing suppliers, according to the yearly audit plan, to verify their alignment to quality's guidelines and practices.
He/she will also ensure the supplier perform effective analysis of failures/issues to determine root cause and implement corrective actions to solve the quality issues detected in Bonfiglioli Plant.
**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**
- Investigate and analyze any quality issue for supplied components.
Prepare and presents supplier-related improvements at monthly plant meetings, and exhalate any chronic quality issues to Head Quarter if necessary.
- Interact with Engineering team (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) to define process and product characteristics and criteria to ensure that supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
- Continuous checking of supplier quality performance as: the number of quality events (such as product defects, delivery failures, ), cost of poor quality per supplier ,etc.
excluding top offender suppliers in blacklist.
- Driving continuous improvement of the supplier performances promoting the use of preventive tools (Poka-Yoke, Error Proofing, etc.
).
- Performing supplier audits on-site at supplier manufacturing locations in collaboration with Global SQE team if necessary.
- Support new product launches to ensure that suppliers meet the required standards.
- Develop any necessary standards and requirements for purchased components at Plant level.
- Reviews and approves Suppliers PPAP and support or leads project management efforts regarding supplier changes.
- Promote the use of APQP tools for the new development process (Technical review, PPAP etc).
- Drive defect containment and assure problem resolution in a timely in supplier side for all quality issues impacting production lines and external customers
- Monitor the implementation and the effectiveness of the 8D submitted by the supplier.
- Monitor the Supplier performances as per company vendor rating identifying the top offender supplier and defining dedicated improvement plan to improve their performance.
**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering: Mechanical or materials
- 1-3 years of experience in a Quality focused role (SQE, Process Engineer)
- Good working knowledge of quality methodologies (APQP, PPAP, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, etc.)
and ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Demonstrable knowledge of manufacturing process and production equipment
- Good English

- Team leadership skills in addressing complex and diverse issues
