M&A Analyst - M/W

Responsibilities The Analyst will be part of Société Générale CIB M&A team based in Milan.
Tasks and responsibilities: Building complex financial models and completing valuation, mergers and other analytical exercises.Drafting presentations for M&A transactions or strategic client dialogue.Working closely with the team to create client deliverables and meet ad-hoc client requests.Collaborating with various industries, countries, and other products' colleagues during origination and execution stages.Performing industry and company research to support business development and on an ad-hoc basis.Profile required Studies & experience: A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.Prior work experience in Investment Banking at a recognized Investment Bank or advisory boutique.Language skills: Native / advanced level of Italian.Proficiency in English.Technical, operational & Soft skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications.Technically proficient in financial modeling (DCF, Multiples, Merger model, LBO model).Analytical approach to problem-solving.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong work ethic.Strong presentation and communication skills.Good interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a team as well as independently.Why join us: Société Générale Italy is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
