M&A Analyst - M/W

Responsibilities The Analyst will be part of Société Générale CIB M&A team based in Milan. Tasks and responsibilities: Building complex financial models and completing valuation, mergers and other analytical exercises. Drafting presentations for M&A transactions or strategic client dialogue. Working closely with the team to create client deliverables and meet ad-hoc client requests. Collaborating with various industries, countries, and other products' colleagues during origination and execution stages. Performing industry and company research to support business development and on an ad-hoc basis. Profile required Studies & experience: A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution. Prior work experience in Investment Banking at a recognized Investment Bank or advisory boutique. Language skills: Native/advanced level of Italian. Proficiency in English. Technical, operational & Soft skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications. Technically proficient in financial modeling (DCF, Multiples, Merger model, LBO model). Analytical approach to problem-solving. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong work ethic. Strong presentation and communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
