GlenBrook Health Center is currently hiring a part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our Skilled Nursing department to serve as the facilities' infection preventionist.
The infection preventionist role is for twenty hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
This nurse will be primarily responsible for infection control at GlenBrook.
In addition, they will assist with staffing CNAs.
As needed, the LVN may assist in the overall nursing care/service on their shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.
Qualifications: Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license in good standing with the LVN Board of Nursing.
At least one year of experience (preferably) with providing direct nursing care to the elderly and chronically ill patients preferably in a Skilled Nursing facility.
Infection control minimum 18-hour certification course or obtain within the first 90 days from the date of hire.
Must have knowledge of Title 22 RCFE Regulations.
