Scope The Logistics Specialist will be part of the logistics team, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager of France & Benelux and will be based in Italy (Milan).
He is responsible for ensuring and supporting production processes, as well as implementing new procedures.
The role also involves managing SW and Customization tools, existing and new ones, in production line, overseeing the execution of continuous improvement initiatives defined by the EMEA teams.
The resource is expected to challenge conventional thinking and explore various perspectives with key stakeholders including, but not limited to, understanding needs, data, analysis, KPIs and regular reporting for the Supply Chain.
Main responsibilities Oversee the deployment of new software, ensuring correct installation on devices.
Monitor new product line setups and ensure smooth transitions.
Serve as the main point of contact for production line operations, coordinating with R&D and other departments.
Ensure proper execution of new processes and automate tasks to improve supply chain efficiency.
Create reports and KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and resolve production issues as needed.
Be responsible for ensuring that new processes are executed correctly and consistently.
Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production-related issues, escalating when necessary.
Signs of success Support success of Supply Chain projects through analysis.
Assess risks, manage timelines, identify deliverables and any required resources.
Provide recommendations to improve organizational performance.
Identify opportunities, recommend strategy and implement system changes or business process improvements to improve operations and KPIs.
Maintain best practices to develop data, analysis and standard processes.
Profile Technical background, technical institute diploma or bachelor's degree in technical disciplines, with a focus on both software, hardware and IT aspects.
Important technical skills : Proficient in working with numbers.
Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel skills).
Requires demonstrated ability to cross-functional teams to resolve, implement or reach consensus on issues.
English and Italian are a must.
French is preferable.
Other meaningful skills : Good knowledge of SAP (WM, MM) is a plus.
Good knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
Self-motivated.
